One of 40 cleantech startups selected globally, Voltpost will present its smart lamppost charging solution to potential investors and other cleantech industry stakeholders.

Brooklyn, NY — (March 11, 2022) — Voltpost is proud to announce it was selected to present its smart lamppost charging solution to investors and industry representatives at the NREL 2022 Industry Growth Forum (IGF), April 13–14, in Denver, Colorado. The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) hosts the IGF, now in its 27th year. It is one of the nation’s premier events for cleantech entrepreneurs and other industry experts. Voltpost earned the presentation spot from a field of more than 150 entrepreneurs following an extensive selection process.

Voltpost decarbonizes mobility and democratizes charging access by retrofitting lampposts into smart electric vehicle charging stations. This technology reduces the cost, timing, and footprint of charging station installation and provides communities with a scalable, equitable solution.

“We are honored to be among the top 40 companies selected globally for the 2022 NREL Industry Growth Forum,” said Jeff Prosserman, CEO of Voltpost. “Enabling convenient public charging for all communities is vital to achieve decarbonization targets. Voltpost plans to accelerate equitable electric vehicle adoption with a community-first charging solution. We are excited to present Voltpost to investors and industry representatives to spark partnerships for a better tomorrow.”

The forum is a one-of-a-kind opportunity in the cleantech space — the premier event for cleantech entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from industry and the public sector to build relationships, showcase innovative technologies, and identify business solutions. NREL facilitates connections between cutting-edge startups, including Voltpost, and motivated investors to drive innovation to market for impact. NREL is the only U.S. federal lab dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency research.

“We’re delighted with this year’s slate of presenters,” IGF Program Manager Sheila Ebbitt said. “They represent cleantech startups with high potential and we can’t wait for them to pitch to the investors and other market experts.”

More than 100 investors could hold up to 1,300 meetings during the two-day event. For more information and a complete list of IGF presenting companies, please visit: https://www.nrelforum.com/
